THE NOBLE GENERATION Volume II
Lubbock author Thomas J. Nichols and one hundred other authors from all over
Texas have pooled their efforts to create The Noble Generation Volume II. This
book, a follow-up to the first Noble Generation book published in 2002, grew out
of Barnes and Noble’s Ambassadors program, a partnership with the Texas
Department of Aging and Disabilities Services that reaches out to the states’
senior citizens.

The Noble Generation Volume II, an anthology, brings to life
personal experiences from a wide variety of events from the 20th century,
including the Great Depression, WWII, the ‘50s and ‘60s. Prepare to laugh, cry,
and reflect upon the lives of these amazing people. The book vividly depicts the
triumphs and tragedies of those we call Grandma and Grandpa. For many of the
authors, this is their first published work and their excitement is contagious.
